Wrensday: clucking and blooming

Suzie and Arica are loving all of the bugs, worms and sprouts that are showing up around our yard.

Potted pansies and blooming Carolina Jessamine on the gate make for a cheery welcome in the butterfly garden.

This is the last of the dafodils this spring.

This beautiful white bleeding heart comes back every year.

  1. What a lovely way to start my day! Your Carolina Jessamine is so sweet... I have one blooming at my garden gate that my husband bought me.

  4. I don't think I've ever seen white bleeding hearts. They are fabulous. Wouldn't they be perfect in a wedding arrangement. (I guess the name "bleeding heart" wouldn't be so good in a wedding arrangement, but the flower is so beautiful how it drapes.) Your yard looks so pretty.
